Hello I’m Tere.  Thank you for stopping by my site!

Hopefully, you have stumbled upon my website because you have an interest in custom portraiture.  Here is a bit about me.  I have a young family that I adore. They rock my world everyday (in that good/hectic/crazy way only the people you love can do).  Add to that Einstein (my 12 year-old kitten) and Murphy, the redheaded podle puppy, so our household is full and ever busy.

I enjoy travel, books and am always changing my hair.  I am a hopeless romantic and try not to take myself too seriously.  I enjoy running and am now training for my first marathon in Big Sur.  I believe coffee should be the national beverage.  And for as full as my life is, photography is my creative outlet and my top addiction.

I adore making photographs.  I love the entire process of capturing a moment in time, that will be reflected upon tomorrow, next year and hopefully for generations to come.  I can’t express how much joy I get out of capturing people as they play, laugh, cry, smile, giggle, run, splash, jump, hug, kiss and hold each other.  It’s the real moments that give me the most chills when they happen in front of my camera and it’s the real moments that will make your heart flutter when you see those images.

I am crazy and will do anything to get someone to relax and forget about the camera.  I have been known to fall to the ground, make the the most bizarre noises, sing and dance all to get a child to become comfortable around me and in front of my camera.  And I’ve got tricks up my sleeve for adults too!
